Grand Canyon

Nearly 450 km (275 mi) long, the Grand Canyon was cut by the flowing water of the Colorado River over millions of years. It is often compared to the larger Valles Marineris for size, but that Martian canyon is a rift valley, more like the East African Rift separating Arabia from Africa on Earth.
